Welcome to the new REPTILE TRADER website (Formerly Rocky Reptiles), my name is Ken Thompson (Your local Snake Whisperer) As a category 5 licence dealer, I have been dealing in reptiles and reptile products in W.A. since it became legal to do so in 2003. Our easy to navigate website has all the necessary information you require, here you will find a list of all the reptiles that we can keep in Western Australia, just click on each one for comprehensive and accurate information about that species. You will also find documents for licensing, record keeping and care sheets available, along with a huge kid’s corner with colouring pages, dot-to-dot, face masks, and a section full of interesting reptile facts for fun and for school projects, all documents and pages are available for free download.

The popularity of keeping reptiles and native amphibians has increased in recent years, there are nearly enough keepers and breeders to be able to sustain the pet industry here in Western Australia, so the need for taking reptiles from the wild for sale or breeding has diminished.
